Transducer: Specifications

The VECTOR System uses a High Accuracy, Digitally Compensated EMI/RFI Protected Stainless Steel Isolated Pressure Transducer available in a range of pressures. Because of its placement on the probe and direct burial within a lithology, the transducer is an "absolute" type requiring no barometric compensation via a vented cable to the surface. Such transducers have been used for many years (as Casagrande type PTs) to record changes in pore water pressure and infer groundwater movement in a variety of geotechnical settings such as under dams, within levees, seepage zones, and foundation cutoffs. Coupling such a transducer to a VECTOR flowsensor allows for unprecented direct observation of groundwater motion over time.

The VECTOR Pressure Transducer is a cost-effective, level transducer available in custom level ranges from 60 to 1150 ft. H2O and is digitally compensated over a temperature range of 0 to 100° C.  All transducers are UL and CE compliant.
