HydroTechnics manufactures, installs, and services VECTOR Technology which is used to observe, track and record how groundwater moves over time. A unique combination of hardware and software, VECTOR Technology was originally designed as the "In Situ Permeable Flow Sensor" by Scientists and Engineers at the Sandia National Laboratory and later perfected by HydroTechnics, Inc. The technology is widely used by hydrogeologists to better understand groundwater resources.

The system consists of a probe, installed with a drill rig down into the water table, a power supply which powers the probe, a simple interface that connects the probe a computer, and finally, software that interprets groundwater flow data collected by the probe. VECTOR Technology is a proven system with over ten years of field tests, applications, and most importantly, results.
